Alexis D. Hatten
Alexis is a 2012 graduate of Albany Law School and 2009 graduate from Loyola University Maryland. During law school, Alexis interned with the New York State Office of the State Comptroller, where she researched pending state and federal legislation and drafted memos analyzing their impact on the State Comptroller’s investment strategies and fiduciary duties to the retirement fund. She also held an internship with the Maryland State Office of the Attorney General, where, among her other duties, she conducted investigations and mediated disputes in cases concerning denial of healthcare benefits.
Alexis focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, with experience that includes representing clients in all types of workers’ compensation litigation before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.
In her spare time, Alexis enjoys baking cheesecakes, golf, softball, and rooting for her home team, The Philadelphia Eagles. Alexis also lives with two cats, who run the household.
